Healthcare decisions often depend on measurements taken at a particular moment. Between visits, a person’s physiology continues to change, but the care team may have little visibility into that change.
Connected monitoring can help make more information available over time. It also creates new responsibilities: measurements need context, devices need to work reliably, and people need to understand what the technology can and cannot tell them.
For Brykel, the engineering challenge is to connect sensing, embedded systems and digital tools while keeping the patient and care context in view. This work is still developing, and the value of any measurement depends on evidence and validation.
